Each time Bass Reeves and his posse rides past the dead line, delineated by the railroad tracks, they take their lives into their hands. Outlaws abound in Indian Country and the Western District of Arkansas in 1878. Will Bass succeed in bringing outlaws to justice or will he perish like to many others who have dared to try to tame the Wild West.
